Best Breast Cancer Screening and Awareness Competition


Description:
The Best Breast Cancer Screening and Awareness Competition is an initiative of Philips Group of Companies Malaysia and National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to encourage and reward innovative awareness programs for breast cancer screening in Malaysia.
Any project/campaign/program/initiative that has been submitted to the Best Breast Cancer Screening and Awareness Competition will be screened and winning submission will be awarded a total sum of RM40,000 to carry out and implement the proposed Breast Cancer Screening and Awareness Programme.

The Risk Management Challenge is back! This time, it’s BIGGER and BETTER than ever before!
Sponsored by Accenture and jointly organised by NTU Risk Management Society, SMU Actuarial Science Club, UNMC Wall Street Society and AIESEC, Risk Management Challenge 2013 is THE competition to join to give you exposure and insight into risk management!
The theme for this year is: Riding out the Storm – Rethinking Risk in Financial Institutions
For Singapore students, the competition topic will be released during the RMC Kick-off on 14th January 2013, 5.30 pm at NTU campus, LT 15.
For Malaysia students, the competition topics will be released via email on 14 January 2013.

PAM - Tan Sri Ar. Chan Sau Lai Architecture Award 2013


Description:
PAM is pleased to announce that the “PAM-Tan Sri Ar. Chan Sau Lai Architecture Award 2013”is NOW OPEN FOR SUBMISSION.
The Award, offering a total of RM 50,000 grant to the Award Winners,will recognize the outstanding achievements by students of architecture in design, and to introduce these students to the profession and the industry.

PAM Student Members who are graduating towards a Part II architecture degree of an architecture course in 2012, or Malaysian students who will be completing in the present year, in the country or abroad, are invited to submit your final year works for the 2013 Award.

1. One finalist will be judged as the Awards Winner to receive the prize money of RM25,000, and the Winner Certificate,
2. Four finalists will receive the Commendation prizes being prize money of RM5,000 each, and a Commendation Certificate, and
3. Five finalists will receive prize money of RM1,000 each, and a Finalist Certificate.

Southeast Asia Combat Robot Competition 2013 (Robotwars)


Description:
The Southeast Asia Combat Robot Competition 2013 (Robotwars) offers students an opportunity to learn by means of a friendly competition against their peers where students take responsibility for the design, construction, and performance of a combat robot that will battle all out with opponent’s robot in a specially design game field. The winner of the competition will be the team whose robot is the top survivor in a series of head to head elimination rounds.

ANUGERAH HIJAU 2013


Description:
Anugerah Hijau, or Green Awards, is an annual nationwide competition organized by non-profit environmental organization, EcoKnights and its collaborative partners and sponsors.
The competition aims to challenge youths to be creative and innovative in addressing everyday environmental issues such as pollution, limited space, improper disposal of waste, forest destruction, and human health, among the few.
The competition in 2013 has three categories:
-Green Film
-Green Space
-Green Fashion

HUG 2013 Student challenge - UniSim Competition



Description:
Are you a chemical engineering student with flair for process design? Submit your solution to a critical plant business issue and get unique opportunity to present it in front of hundreds of industry leaders at the prestigious Asia Pacific HUG conference.

Open to any undergraduate or postgraduate Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering and/or Heat
Transfer university student within Australia, New Zealand, Korea, India, Japan, China and South East Asia.

The winner and his/her supervisor receives free attendance to the Honeywell Users’ Group Asia Pacific, which will be held in Perth, Australia. The prize includes registration fee, transportation and accommodation.
Five consolation prize winners will win paid attendance to one of two Honeywell Advanced UniSim Design Training Courses. Travel and expenses not included.
